Beiersdorf and Ball hit 100% PCR milestone for NIVEA MEN aerosol cans

Beiersdorf and Ball Corporation have fully transitioned European aerosol cans to 100% post-consumer recycled aluminium, cutting emissions while proving large-scale circularity for NIVEA MEN and 8×4 deodorant sprays.

Beiersdorf and Ball Corporation have completed a strategic partnership by converting all of Beiersdorf’s European aerosol cans to 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) aluminium, following a successful 2024 pilot that scaled Europe-wide last year. The move now packages many NIVEA MEN Deo sprays and select 8×4 variants in sustainable cans, delivering significant decarbonisation benefits and reinforcing Ball’s European leadership in circularity and lightweighting.
