Albéa highlights latest packaging developments, from applicators to airtight cosmetics compacts
New applicators and compacts and a small-format Twirl jar were among packaging supplier Albéa’s novelties revealed at Paris Packaging Week 2026.
Albéa’s new Purr, Lumea and Glazen applicators are made in Italy from thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and intended to be used with the supplier’s Mémoire pack. Glazen is a flexible, curved applicator with resevoir targeting concealer, cream or gloss formulas. Lumea, meanwhile, features a flat, flexible shape reminiscent of a spatula and is suited to skincare and concealer. With Purr, Albéa sought to recreate a flocked effect. The soft, sensorial applicator conceived for lips and face features super-soft bristles and a bevel tip.
Soft Bevel, a TPE bevel applicator combined with a tube made of PE or PP, has a transparent tip to showcase the formula’s colors, and a supple texture for comfortable application. Color customization is available for the overcap and collar.
