Aerossol Week 2026: Brazil’s aerosol sector strengthens its talent pipeline

Organised by ABAS with Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, the 2026 edition brought together 43 students and 30 industry specialists in São Paulo for an intensive five-day programme covering formulation, packaging, valves, propellants, quality, safety and sustainability across the aerosol value chain.

The fifth edition of Aerossol Week took place in São Paulo in August, gathering 43 students and 30 professionals from across the Brazilian aerosol industry. Over five days, participants followed 17 lectures that explored the full manufacturing process, from packaging systems and valve technology to propellants, formulation design, research and development, quality control, regulatory standards and environmental practices. The structure encouraged direct exchanges between emerging talents and experienced practitioners, creating a focused environment for knowledge transfer and peer learning.

ABAS president Áttila Almásy highlighted the programme’s strategic importance: “Since the creation of the first Aerossol Week, following the evolution of this programme has filled us with joy and satisfaction for being part of this ecosystem. This programme makes it clear that the future of our industry depends directly on the unity amongst the members and partners of this initiative, technological innovation, and continuous training. Seeing a new generation of professionals so engaged and passionate about the aerosol industry is the greatest proof that we are on the right path to grow with excellence.
