Year after year, we strive to achieve higher levels of technology with our technical and manufacturing solutions, ensuring that the materials used are as recyclable as possible and that they are reused. We have significantly expanded the capacity of our hydrobank heat recovery technology, allowing us to allocate thirty percent more “waste heat energy” for heating our buildings and providing hot water, thereby reducing natural gas consumption and contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. We increasingly demand sustainable forest management-certified papers from our suppliers, thus meeting our objectives and the requirements of our internationally certified FSC®-CoC and PEFC™-CoC management systems.
Through our solar park investments, we further reduce our energy consumption, potentially saving up to two months’ worth of electricity annually. Our project is in the implementation phase, and we won’t have to wait long for tangible results. Managing our recyclable and other waste is an important part of our ownership perspective. We have established more than twenty collection points for collecting PET bottles and aluminum beverage containers. The remaining paper waste is processed at the recycling facility, contributing to the expansion of recycling. We are also focused on being able to manufacture climate-neutral products, with the assistance of our foreign partner. The realization of this goal is in the final phase, and the first climate-neutral products could roll off our production line by the end of 2023. The proportion of green areas at our site is outstanding, contributing not only to climate protection but also to the sense of belonging for our employees.
Our ISO 14001:2015 standard system has been certified since 2018, and in 2022, our printing press was awarded the Green Printing World Awards 2022 – (GPwA 2022 – Green Printing World Awards 2022).
