Time and resources can be saved by simply omitting the commonly unchallenged layer stack consisting of a base coat underneath and a top coat on top of the metallization layer.
Titaniumoxide or titaniumoxinitride has proven adhesion even without base coat on various prevalent substrate materials, such as PET or glass. For this kind of application a metallizer type POLYCOATER is sufficient.
