Leather Labelling
We had the pleasure of collaborating with the Swiss distillery Turicum to enhance this magnificent stoneware rum bottle. This is the perfect opportunity to tell you more about the different leather labelling options that we offer!
« Master Blend Rum »
The bottle is adorned with two faux leather labels in distinct formats: a large plate covers the body, highlighting the brand’s logo and the product’s unique character, while a collar band in the shape of a rudder wraps around the neck, adding a maritime touch that invites the senses on a journey to the Caribbean islands, the birthplace of rum.
Technique
For this project, we used Italian Faux leather crafted in our German factory using the embossing technique.
This method involves creating recessed patterns directly into the material, which not only reduces the use of chemical products such as inks but also preserves the raw and natural authenticity of the material, perfectly complementing the bottle’s stoneware.
Leather Labelling
We work with different types of leather based on our clients' preferences and needs, and we remain open to exploring new materials. So far, we have worked with four types of leather:
• Genuine leather
• Reconstituted leather, made from recycled genuine leather scraps
• Faux leather, derived from synthetic materials
• Vegetable leather including grape leather, produced from pomace recovered during the grape harvest.
