Vacumetal is proud to announce that it has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal for 2026, placing the company among the top 5% of organisations worldwide assessed by EcoVadis. After achieving the Silver rating for several consecutive years, this Gold recognition marks an important milestone in Vacumetal's sustainability journey.

At Vacumetal, sustainability is embedded in the way we operate, innovate and grow. The EcoVadis assessment evaluates companies on four key areas: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. This achievement reflects the dedication of our team and our long-term investments in responsible manufacturing.

As a specialist in high-end decoration for glass and plastic packaging, Vacumetal continuously invests in cleaner technologies and sustainable production methods. Our initiatives include reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 CO₂ emissions, using 100% solvent-free dry lacquers since 2007, generating renewable energy with 1,800 solar panels, operating on 100% green electricity since 2022, implementing extensive recycling programmes, and maintaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified management systems.

While we are proud of receiving the EcoVadis Gold Medal, we see it as a milestone rather than a finish line.
