ECEA Winner 2026: compact carton packs replacing plastic while enabling reliable machine processing.
For Phonak EasyGuard™, we developed highly compact carton-based individual packs for hearing aid accessories. The dimensions are close to the technical minimum for machine processing, yet the packs integrate multiple functions including a Euro hole hanger, tamper-evident front opening, reclosure and secure product retention.
The individual packs are combined in the EasyGuard™ Starter Kit, a carton-based retail solution with an integrated insert and sleeve. Together, the system replaces previous plastic packaging while supporting efficient machine erection, filling and handling.
The packaging won the European Carton Excellence Award 2026 in the Pharma & Healthcare category.
