Cold transfer for sheet-fed offset

The technology used in cold foiling allows printing at high speeds and with plate costs much lower than those used in hot foiling. This technology is particularly popular in high-volume markets, and it makes it possible to achieve a very high degree of finesse. On the other hand, cold foiling requires the use of closed supports, thus excluding structured supports. It thus partially competes with heat transfer, and also opens up new visual and commercial horizons, through its mirror effects and its ability to overprint.
