Double Trouble is a dual surface applicator architecture that brings formula delivery, blending and cooling care into one continuous gesture.
Built around HCT’s established metal flow through platform, the applicator combines a flocked application surface with a smooth metal treatment surface. Formula is delivered through the applicator head to the flocked zone, which supports controlled laydown and blending across facial contours. The metal surface then provides a cool, smooth interface for massage, sculpting and finishing.
A tapered profile adds precision for targeted areas such as the under eye and facial contours, while the contrasting surfaces allow the user to move naturally between application and sensory treatment without changing tools.
Developed by Neural Hinge as an extension of an existing IP platform, Double Trouble demonstrates how established dispensing technology can be evolved through new interface architecture to create a differentiated skincare and complexion experience.
