Fast-Met is a batch equipment with sputtering and reactive sputtering process. The structure can be customized according to customer’s need: the chamber can have 2 doors or one double-sided door, the magnetron cathode can be rotating or planar, the fixtures can be double or single and so on. Cycle time goes from 4 to 9 minutes. This solution is more and more demanded by the market to obtain colors, thanks to reactive sputtering. This “reactive” process results from the injection of gases in addition to the standard metallization one (typically argon), aimed to obtaining a series of colors ranging from gold to red to blue. Most requested effects are black chrome and gold rose. Our company always support the clients in finding the most suitable gas mixture to achieve the requested color finishes.
