Created for the launch of the wiskey « Midleton Very Rare Forêt de Tronçais” by Midleton Very Rare (Irish Distillers, Pernod Ricard group), this box is produced in France, in the Jura Mountains. An exceptional piece, only 1400 will be sold this year. This cabinet is made from fine oak from the Tronçais forest, the same wood as the casks in which the whiskey has matured. The design, both inside and out, highlights this exceptional wood from an eco-managed forest where natural regeneration and preser-vation of the ecosystem are important. On the outside, metal inlays highlight the natural beauty of wood grain. The opening re-veals 3 panels enhanced by intricate laser engraving, that pay homage to the French woodland and its role in this whiskey’s story.
