Up to 60% PCR material and suitable for food contact
This new mono-material tube has a better environmental impact by using recycled materials including 60% of post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials and is recyclable as well! Another advantage of Polyfoil® EcoPro is its EU compliance. Regulation 2022/2016 mandates the use of mechanically recycled plastics for food contact, and the Polyfoil® EcoPro containing rHDPE (PCR material) conforms to Commission Regulation (EU) 2022/1616 for food contact materials.

Polyfoil® EcoPro also has an optimized CO2 footprint of 40% compared to standard coex tubes. Polyfoil® EcoPro has a recyclability rating of “Grade A” from Recyclass for a barrier tube. The tubes can be easily and efficiently recycled, further reducing its environmental impact and making it an ideal choice for companies wanting to reduce their carbon footprint and promote sustainability.
