In December 2024, our prestigious jury, composed of brands such as Chanel, Dior, PUIG, Interparfums, and many others, gathered to judge the entries for the PCD Innovation Awards. The winners of the PCD Innovation Awards 2025 were announced, celebrated, and honoured at PCD Paris, as part of Paris Packaging Week in January 2025.
Fragrances - Men, Women, & Unisex

Please describe the brief for the pack. What were the objectives for the innovation project? What were the requirements and constraints?
The main objective was to make the bottle a work of art!
The bottle’s organic shape, inspired by the waves of the lagoon, embodies the renowned art of mouth-blown glass, a technique that has made Murano famous. Each bottle features small bubbles within the glass, making every piece unique. It rests on a base of green Italian marble, drawing inspiration from Venice’s architectural beauty.
The cap has been carefully designed to eliminate plastic entirely. It is made of wood with a cork interior.
The bottle also adheres to Kering’s Sustainability Principles for Beauty. Designed to be refillable, it features a screw neck, presenting an additional challenge due to the risk of leakage in the Bubble Glass design.

Why do you believe this pack deserves to win an Innovation Award?
This bottle deserves to win the Innovation Award because it is the first to feature bubbles created using a standard industrial glass process (as opposed to semi-automatic techniques).
It is refillable and designed to be kept by the consumer forever, with its marble base.
Even the secondary packaging was designed for reuse, transforming into a lovely storage box. Furthermore, it is 100% free of single-use plastic.
In summary, this collection demonstrates that “luxury and sustainability” are one and the same.
This collection fits perfectly with the brand’s identity, built around Italian craftsmanship and know-how, but also the more abstract idea of elegance while fluidity. This idea is expressed through the sumptuous, almost liquid shapes of the bottles—each one asymmetrical and unique, evoking the feeling of being crafted and moulded by hand.
