Beame makes suncream fun for Gen Z
London-based brand Beame wants to help Generation Z to adopt the right habits when it comes to the sun. To encourage reapplication, it uses a practical spray and fun UV stickers. It’s a playful, sensory approach to making sun protection a part of everyday life.
Launched in March, Beame offers an innovative approach to encouraging better sun care habits. Its light, non-greasy SPF 30 face spray is compatible with make-up, while its water-resistant UV stickers change colour to signal when it’s time to reapply. The brand combines practicality with fun, and by incorporating soothing ingredients like neurophroline, it also supports both skin health and emotional well-being. This combination makes sun protection feel more pleasant and instinctive.
“We know gen Z wears sunscreen, but 70% of the U.K. population actually don’t reapply it. No one was doing anything about this fact, even though that’s how sunscreen works”, says Eniye Okah, Founder of Beame.
