Saint James rings in 260th birthday with Elégance, a limited-edition rum
French rum purveyor Saint James (La Martiniquaise) rolled out a limited-edition launch to mark 260 years of business. The rum, retailing for €495, comes in a black coffret embellished with gold hot stamping.
Martinique-based rum brand Saint James called on Blazon Crossdesign, a Paris-based brand strategy and design agency specializing in wines and spirits, for the packaging design of Elégance, a limited-edition rum.
The bottle (Berlin Packaging) has a square cross-section, inspired by the proprietary square shape of the iconic Saint James bottle. Decoration is done directly on the glass via gold hot stamping. Embossing and selective varnish embellish the neck label (Etigraph), while a wood and cork stopper (Delage) covered in a red wax seal crowns the bottle.
