UK Aerosol Recycling Initiative reveals new funding partner

Tata Steel is the newest funding partner introduced by the UK Aerosol Recycling Initiative, which aims to enhance aerosol recycling rates across the UK. The initiative was launched in September 2022 and is spearheaded by Alupro.

The UK Aerosol Recycling Initiative is dedicated to attaining a 50% national aerosol recycling rate goal by 2030. The funding will aid in an ongoing programme of activity, consisting of stakeholder engagement, data collection, behavioural change and external communications.

“With Tata Steel on board, we can further accelerate the programme’s work, which will help to drive measurable, positive change across the UK. Already, we’ve undertaken numerous projects as part of the initiative, such as gaining a far deeper understand our baseline recycling rate” stated Tom Giddings, executive director at Alupro.
