Aptar Beauty brings AAT aerosol valve production to the U.S.
By localizing production of its AAT Vertical Slider valve in the United States, Aptar Beauty aims to improve spray consistency, reduce clogging in particle-rich formulas, and give brands a more reliable dispensing option that can also help accelerate launches and shorten lead times.
Aptar Beauty has announced U.S. production of its AAT Vertical Slider aerosol valve, designed for pressurized formulas with a high powder or particle load. The technology is intended to reduce clogging, improve spray consistency and prevent propellant leakage in particle-rich products.
The valve is now being made locally in Cary, Illinois, which should shorten lead times and speed up commercialization for brand partners. Aptar says the platform can serve multiple categories, including beauty, personal care, home care and industrial applications. ” The Illinois localisation reflects the company’s aim to combine technical innovation with supply chain agility, offering brands faster lead times and greater responsiveness,” said Ryan Kenny, President of Aptar Beauty North America
