Alzamora Group has received the Gold Award for Best Sustainable Packaging at the VPC Green Beauty Awards 2026, recognising the cartonboard packaging developed for Alqvimia, a Spanish brand specialising in natural cosmetics and aromatherapy.

The winning project features a distinctive pyramid-shaped structure inspired by the proportions of the Great Pyramid of Giza. Developed for Alqvimia's premium beauty products, the packaging moves away from conventional rectangular formats while maintaining a strong connection with the brand's identity.

A distinctive approach to sustainable luxury packaging

The design combines a carefully developed cartonboard structure with a selection of decorative finishes, including textured board, matt varnish, semi-matt gold foil stamping and blind embossing.

The result is a premium presentation in which the shape, materials and finishes all contribute to the product's identity. The pyramid format also demonstrates the creative possibilities of cartonboard for beauty and cosmetics brands looking for alternatives to conventional packaging designs.
