An Advent Calendar That Becomes a Lantern
Honold Advent calendar with laser-cut lantern, 24 reusable boxes and gold hot-foil branding
The Advent calendar for Confiserie Honold combines 24 individual confectionery boxes with a decorative carton lantern.
Fine laser-cut patterns in the side panels create an interplay of light and shadow when illuminated, allowing the packaging to be reused as a lantern after Christmas. The 24 red boxes can also be refilled or used to store small items.
The construction deliberately keeps additional finishing to a minimum. Gold hot-foil stamping on the lid adds a targeted brand accent, while the contrast between the light-coloured lantern and red boxes defines the visual appearance.
