Award-winning cardboard Advent calendar that transforms into a lantern, with laser-cut details and reusable boxes.
For Confiserie Honold, we developed a premium cardboard Advent calendar that combines 24 individual boxes with a decorative lantern. Delicate laser-cut patterns create an atmospheric interplay of light and shadow, while gold hot foil stamping adds an elegant finishing touch.
Both the lantern and the individual boxes are designed for reuse, extending the life of the packaging beyond the festive season. The concept received two distinctions at the Swiss Packaging Award 2026: an award in the Design category and the Audience Award.
