ADF Innovation Awards Spotlight | Biore U the body

In December 2022, our prestigious jury from brands including KAO, Beiersdorf, Unilever and many more came together to judge the ADF Innovation Awards. The finalists and winners of the ADF Innovation Awards 2023 were announced, recognised and applauded at ADF Paris, part of Paris Packaging Week in January in 2023.

Personal Care Award Winner: Biore U the body

Please describe the brief for the pack. What were the objectives for the innovation project? What were the requirements and constraints?

Biore U the body has a new foaming pump which dispenses fine and fluffy foam, similar to whipped cream. In addition, the bottle is made from recycled PET material. The objective is to wash the body comfortably, so we developed new foaming pump, that produces fine foam that is high in polymer.

Why do you believe this pack deserves to win an Innovation Award?

This new foaming pump combines effective air and liquid mixing to create a soft foaming wash. The special foam has high cleansing performance and elasticity, so consumers can wash their whole body comfortably.
