Gloss & Green® – Metallic Effects on Cartonboard Without Permanent Plastic Film
Gloss & Green® (Trans-Met) creates premium metallic effects on cartonboard without leaving a permanent plastic film on the finished packaging.
Gloss & Green® uses a transfer film to create metallic and holographic surfaces. Unlike conventional film lamination, the film is separated from the cartonboard again during production and does not remain part of the finished packaging.
The metallised cartonboard therefore remains paper-based and can be sent for paper recycling. The separated transfer film is processed into plastic granules and reused as a raw material.
For premium packaging in the spirits, cosmetics and food sectors, Gloss & Green® offers an additional way to combine striking metallic effects with a clearly defined material structure.
