Focus on… our favourite packs from the end of February

Let’s take a look at some of our favourite packs from the end of February! These designs and packs are all thanks to the brands and designers and their outstanding work.

Phalena Haircare and Karolina Król Studio collaborated to create the brand’s new identity.

The brand identity and packaging designs that were created for Phalena Haircare were focused on the natural, exotic ingredients that inspire the look and feel of the brand. A delicate, warm colour palette with minimalist hand-painted illustrations of the key ingredients tell a story of a feminine, whimsical brand that cares for your hair in a natural, sustainable way.

The minimalist, asymmetrical layouts convey the clean, modern qualities of the brand, while the elegant combination of sans-serif and serif fonts provides a feeling of high quality and trust. The delicate illustrations that can be seen on the labels, patterns and shipping boxes represent the natural, exotic ingredients, such as hibiscus, orchids, strawberry, or kiwi plants. Simple and natural.

International agency JDO has supported Dove in the launch of its new Body Wash Reusable Bottle & Concentrate Refills.

JDO was tasked with designing two ‘too beautiful to throw away’ reusable bottles as well as a range of concentrate refills and starter kits. The agency therefore developed an elegantly modern illustration with botanical imagery that adorns the reusable bottles. Layered green fronds against the silver of the premium aluminium bottle give off a spa-like quality.

According to the creative director at JDO, “This allowed us to really focus on creating a clean aesthetic that appealed to the consumer desire for more sustainable solutions as well as their desire for beautiful products. Our hope is to inspire them to use Dove’s new Body Wash Reusable Bottle & Concentrate Refills for a new personal care routine that looks good in the bathroom, feels good on the skin and does good for the planet over time”.

To celebrate International Margarita Day this week, we chose this pack by Patron Tequila

Each bottle is one-of-a-kind and hand-crafted. Experienced glass artisans personally create every bottle using traditional glass-blowing techniques. Both the labels and signature ribbons are applied by hand and the bottle then goes through a detailed, 14-step inspection process to ensure its perfection and beauty.

The Patrón bottle was created with shelf appeal in mind, and it evokes a sense of timeless class and refinement. This thoughtful design, mixed with good marketing over the years, has established Patrón as the tequila you want to be seen ordering at the bar!

Molly & Dolly are organic sparkling wines made with the traditional production method, known to produce Champagne in France.

Studio Size designed a label in the style of the “Old World” wines, combining a rich typographic treatment with off-white paper. The logo was applied as a stamp to complete the classic aesthetic.

Since all the wines are organic, the designers reduced plastic materials in the packaging. Removing the foil wrap from the bottleneck made the bottle more transparent, which is an interesting contrast to the traditional ornamental style of the label.
