Baralan to expand sustainable packaging portfolio

Recently, Baralan have announced the expansion of its packaging systems by introducing environmentally friendly materials, reports Industries Cosmétiques.

Baralan’s expansion will enrich the brand’s eco-friendly packaging portfolio, as its new line will focus on the importance of waste optimization by promoting recycling through the use of organic waste, such as coffee peels and rice.

By combining this organic waste with virgin plastic and lowering the overall plastic resin content, a more sustainable manufacturing process will be developed that can be used to make a variety of accessories for Baralan’s regular line.

“This launch is exciting for Baralan and has been an opportunity for us as a company to examine how and where we can expand our green offerings to better protect the environment,” says Maurizio Ficcadenti, Global Head of R&D.

“Our vision is to continuously develop new collections of sustainable products that offer both elegance and superior functionality.”
