Amcor Capsules cuts carbon emissions by 35% on its aluminium screw caps

Amcor Capsules claims a 35% reduction in the carbon footprint of its STELVIN screw caps through the use of primary aluminum with low carbon content and incorporating up to 46% recycled materials in production.

For spirits and wine brands, STELVIN screw caps and all 30H60 closures manufactured in Europe, North America, South America and now emit less carbon than conventional screw caps made from European aluminium. This improvement is the result of the use of certified low-carbon and recycled aluminium, independently verified.
