French savoir-faire on show with Temyris’ beauty minaudière

For its refillable beauty minaudière designed to hold a lipstick, fragrance and powder product, Temyris worked with French artisans.

Small enough to fit in the palm of the hand, the object held a lipstick, a powder case, and a perfume bottle. “We decided to reinvent it for the modern age, working solely with French companies and artisans to showcase made-in-France savoir-faire,” says Teyssèdre. Temyris’s cases, made of galalite, are the work of Manufacture Meynier, while brass components are produced by Neoax, and the gilding – the brass components have a 2-micron 24-carat-gold coating – by Marchio.

On the lid of the beauty minaudière, a laser engraved brass compact with a mirror is designed to hold a powder, foundation, highlighter or eye shadow refill. Inserting a pin unlocks the refill so it can be removed and replaced. The lipstick is made entirely of brass save for a small plastic piece in which the lipstick bullet is placed. The fragrance bottle (VTA Sover) is designed to be filled with the fragrance of the customer’s choosing; Albéa supplied the cap.
