Butterfly Cannon’s packaging for Monte Rosso Estate

For the inaugural release of its Monte Rosso Estate, Gallo Luxury Group called on UK-based Butterfly Cannon for the Californian fine wine’s brand identity and packaging design. Inspired by Monte Rosso’s iron-rich soil, red is used across the labels of the three red wines: The Essence, The Impression, and Los Niños. The Semillon, the only white wine in the portfolio, contrasts with its “natural, earthy tones”. A subtly textured label has a shape inspired by the original portal of the Monte Rosso winery.
