Louis Vuitton’s flower monogram inspires lip pencils and €400 beauty pencil sharpener
Louis Vuitton has expanded its make-up line with lip pencils shaped like its iconic flower monogram. A sharpener and a blending brush join the new product assortment.
After introducing La Beauté Louis Vuitton in 2025, the LVMH-owned maison has added new items to its inaugural color cosmetics line, developed with British make-up artist Dame Pat McGrath. Rather than adopting the typically cylindrical shape of lip pencils, LV Crayon is shaped like the brand’s iconic flower monogram, an innovative silhouette that is said to improve grip, control, and application.
Like Vuitton’s existing make-up products, the design is the work of German industrial designer Konstantin Grcic. The matte-black wooden pencil (made of pine wood) “reveals its shade in a gradient,” and transitions from a glossy tip to a semi-matte body. It is topped with a black aluminum flower-shaped cap decorated with the Louis Vuitton monogram in gold.
LV Crayon comes in 10 shades, ranging from nude (190 Beige Atlas) to bright (896 Monogram Rouge). The formula is infused with peptides for their revitalizing properties and offers a “smooth, creamy, melt-in” texture.
