Loch Lomond Brewery extends West Highland Spirits into RTDs
Loch Lomond Brewery has lined up the introduction of a brace of RTDs from its West Highland Spirits portfolio, with the mark also set to benefit from a rebrand.
The brand is clearly focusing on its brand image and packaging with the launch of these ready-to-drink beverages in 33cl aluminium cans, a format that has become central to its strategy. The visual identity is part of a premium positioning, inspired by the rich, changing colours of the Scottish landscape, to convey warmth, style and originality. This approach aims to differentiate the range in a highly competitive segment, capitalising on visual appeal on the shelf and for on-the-go consumption.
The choice of the can, adopted in 2020, is a key element of the branding: it reinforces modernity, practicality and portability whilst supporting a contemporary and accessible image. Lightweight and easy to carry, this format suits current and tourist-oriented uses, whilst having already demonstrated its commercial effectiveness with a doubling of sales.
