Dom Pérignon entrusts its bottles to Damien Hirst
Following several collaborations with leading figures in the contemporary art world, Dom Pérignon is continuing its dialogue with the arts by working with Damien Hirst.
Having collaborated with figures such as Karl Lagerfeld, Jeff Koons, Takashi Murakami, David Lynch, Lenny Kravitz and Lady Gaga, Dom Pérignon continues its dialogue with the world of art. The house aims to turn certain limited editions into collector’s items, bringing together champagne, design and contemporary art. For this new collaboration, it has chosen the British artist Damien Hirst.
In an interview with WWD, Jacques Giraco, managing director of Dom Pérignon, explains that this partnership stems from Damien Hirst’s ability to renew our perception of familiar forms. An approach which, he says, echoes that of the house, whose identity is reinvented with every vintage.
