Perrier-Jouët’s Ode à la Nature highlights embroidery with Chanel’s Atelier Montex

Champagne house Perrier-Jouët called on Atelier Montex, a French embroidery house that is part of Chanel’s Métiers d’Art, to create an adornment for a Belle Epoque Jeroboam. The pair of embroidered dragonfly wings combine 3D printing, 24-carat-gold plating and hand-embroidered glass beads.

After the Anémone edition in 2022, Maison Perrier-Jouët unveiled a new addition to its Objets Extraordinaires Collection in January 2024. Ode à la Nature – Libellule is a Jeroboam format of the maison’s Belle Epoque Champagne; the bottle is adorned with a pair of dragonfly wings embellished with detailed embroidery.

Maison Perrier-Jouët’s collection of French Art Nouveau decorative objects and artworks proved the inspiration for the piece. In particular, a walnut side table with sculpted legs representing dragonflies by Emile Gallé, the French artist and designer who also created Perrier-Jouët’s anemone motif.
