Press release | KURZ presents ‘The Koi Can’, the Dreamcomposer® and much more: the packaging revolution at Paris Packaging Week

Paris, January 21, 2025 – The KURZ Group continues to push back the boundaries of the packaging industry. At its exhibition at Paris Packaging Week, KURZ is unveiling its advances and innovations in response to the expectations of brands and consumers.

ISIMAT presents ‘The Koi Can’ at the ADF Innovation Awards

ISIMAT, a subsidiary of KURZ, will be taking part in the ADF Awards and will be exclusively presenting The Koi Can on the KURZ stand. This innovative model, inspired by aesthetics and technology, combines visual and haptic effects to offer a unique experience. Thanks to the use of advanced technologies such as ISIMAT’s inLINE FOILING® and screen printing, this cold metallization process enables multi-coloured metallic prints, with infinite customization possibilities. This energy-efficient process reduces costs while simplifying production, even for small runs.

Anti-counterfeiting with TRUSTCOLOR®

Product safety is a core concern for KURZ. The TRUSTCOLOR® system, with its colour-changing effects inspired by nature, offers a unique solution for protection against counterfeiting. This innovative technology requires no pigments or dyes and guarantees an impressive ‘colour flip’, making each pack inimitable.

In addition, KURZ is strengthening its security with SCRIBOS encrypted QR-Code solutions. These QR-Codes can be used to detect counterfeits and access specific marketing content depending on the consumer’s location, without the need for an additional application.

Sustainability and recyclability: towards a circular economy

KURZ continues its commitment to sustainability. Its exclusive transfer technology leaves no plastic film on products, meeting ecological requirements. Thanks to the reduced thickness of the decorative PET and the RECOSYS® 2.0 recycling system, KURZ is paving the way for a circular economic model by recycling transfer film residues.

‘Sustainability has long been an absolute priority for us,’ explains Franck Lopez, Managing Director of KURZ France. ‘It is the common thread running through all our projects, processes and workflows, with the aim of achieving a fully-fledged circular economy in the graphic arts industry’.

Dreamcomposer®: the essential tool for designers

KURZ is also breaking new ground with Dreamcomposer®, ultra-fast 3D software that enables designers and brands to simulate designs before production. This software offers realistic 4K visualisation, integrating the entire range of KURZ and H+M products, for testing colours, curves and visual effects. Thanks to its real-time sharing capability, it facilitates communication and eliminates costly prototypes.
