Geka plays with new shapes and fibers for mascara and lash brushes

New molded mascara brushes and fiber options were on show at German applicator specialist Geka’s booth at Paris Packaging Week 2025.

Designed for different lashes, the Molded Brush Kit comprises three references. FeatherBRUSH is a single-component LDPE brush, slightly tapered and curved to adapt to the eye shape. Ideal for a ‘zig-zag’ application, the brush’s tapered, 45° bristles are meant to significantly separate the lashes. The catwalkLASHES 2.0 is a thick LDPE brush that combines soft bristles and discs that allow for two application zones: the discs separate and lengthen lashes, while the bristles deliver bulk for better volume. The bristles are in a double helix shape and cover the top of the applicator to reach the lashes in the corners of the eye. The fanCBRUSH also has two application zones with short, straight bristles on one side and wider bristles for a curved shape on the other. Meant for smaller eyes and shorter lashes, the brush is slightly less long than traditional mascara brushes.
