In December 2024, an esteemed panel of judges, including brands such as KAO, Beiersdorf, Unilever, and many others, came together to evaluate entries for the ADF Innovation Awards. The winners of the ADF Innovation Awards 2025 were announced, celebrated, and honoured at ADF Paris, as part of Paris Packaging Week in January 2025.

Please describe the brief for the pack. What were the objectives for the innovation project? What were the requirements and constraints?

Since the Covid-19, consumers have become more sensitive to hygiene and resistant to touching or operating containers that have been touched by others.

This product can be installed in a space equivalent to that of a manual dispenser and is to supply foam hand soap that is gentle to the skin without touching the hands.

How did the pack fulfil the brief?

Compared to existing dispensers, this product offers a well-balanced combination of features:

Moisture-rich, fine foam that is gentle on the skin
Touch-free use thanks to an infrared sensor for improved hygiene
Compact design, similar in size to a manual pump bottle, allowing installation in a variety of locations such as washbasins and kitchens
Waterproof and washable, with a seamless outer casing and fusion bonding technology (IP65 rating)
Easy refilling with a liquid tank designed with linked inner and outer lids
Low power consumption — approximately six months of use per battery cycle

This compact, water-resistant dispenser can be used anywhere, including washbasins, for extended periods.
