In December 2025, our prestigious jury — featuring leading names including Bacardi, Moët Hennessy, Pernod Ricard, Rémy Cointreau, and many more – came together to evaluate the entries for the PLD Innovation Awards. The winners were then unveiled, celebrated, and honoured at the inaugural Innovation Awards Gala, held on the eve of Paris Packaging Week 2026.

Please describe the brief for the pack. What were the objectives for the innovation project? What were the requirements and constraints?

The D’Ussé bottle is usually quite small. Creating the 1.75L enlarged it but still, it lacks visibility. We imagined a cradle as a ritual serve which could both enhance the service and therefore increase the brand visibility on premise.

How did the pack fulfil the brief? 

The project needed to be easy to develop (as manufactured in small quantities) and also to move (used worldwide traveling sometimes…) and handle ( for waiters and ambassadors on trade to quickly understand how to use it and serve. We also had a budget to fit in which was not really easy for the ritual serve is delicate!

Why do you believe this pack deserves to win an Innovation Award?

This cradle is so bold and innovative that it had the chance to tour backstage on the Cowboy Carter Tour in the US with Queen B
