Hunter Luxury, a British packaging and accessories company, crafts exquisite packaging for renowned global beauty and spirits brands. With a focus on innovation and sustainability in the luxury sector, they excel in applying creative techniques and materials to meet clients’ sustainability goals.
How does attending Paris Packaging Week help develop your business?
Last year was our first year exhibiting at Paris Packaging Week, and we were thrilled with the interest we had on our stand. We launched our first collection of inspiration projects, which were a great conversation starter amongst many of the visitors we had, and we have since had the opportunity to further those conversations with several new French brands that had previously been unaware of Hunter Luxury.
Our Spirits projects also draw attention to our capabilities in that sector and build our brand awareness as technical experts amongst French Spirits companies attending the show. Clementine Delorme, our French Beauty Account Manager, leveraged her industry reputation to network and reconnect with individuals both at our stand and throughout the show.
In summary, the show proved to be the ideal platform for expanding our connections and strengthening relationships within the industry.
What are you most excited about for the 2024 event in January?
Give us a short introduction to the new Alvari range:
What are the packs main characteristics/its main essential features?
The collection features an embossed and hot foil honeycomb design on the exterior, which is complemented by a botanically inspired print on the interior linings. We have tried to capture the very essence of Bee’s throughout the whole collection.
What materials are the pack made of?
How sustainable and/or innovative is the pack?
What inspired the design?
With structural transition in mind, we were inspired by a concept specifically to frame and display product, either in store or in the home, offering a border and backdrop of print opportunity for each item. The structures can enhance a brand story through this transition, with a reveal of internal graphics leading the consumers on an emotive journey through unboxing. The brand story which was brought to life on this pack was inspired by Hunter’s interest to a wide range of sustainability causes, including local pollinator populations. With some avid beekeepers among our development team at Hunter, this is something dear to our hearts, and links perfectly with a fragrance story.
What technical challenges did you need to overcome to manufacture this pack, if any?
The transitional nature of the fold out boxes requires the use of three living hinges, allowing the pack to be unfolded and internal product displayed. It was important that these hinges were engineered to meet durability requirements, preventing damage over prolonged use, reinforcing the keepsake nature of a luxury box.
What reactions have you had from clients?
The response from global customers has been overwhelmingly positive. The collection has been described as a powerful demonstration of Hunter Luxury’s appreciation and respect towards market trends, and our in-house bespoke technical design & development skills to create the ultimate sensorial experience for a brands consumer targeted audience.
