RÉMY COINTREAU: New sustainable packaging for the Louis XIII box set

Following the launch of the Infitiny Experience in shops, Louis XIII is rethinking the packaging for its emblematic decanter. The Cognac house, part of the Rémy Cointreau group, is presenting a new box that stands out for its lightness, eco-friendly design and use of a single material.

In the year 2023, Rémy Martin’s Louis XIII is enjoying an exceptional period, reflecting the grandeur of its name.

As well as presenting a unique decanter to British monarch Charles III during his recent visit to France, the iconic Cognac house is also revamping its gift box, just in time for the festive season.

Made from cellulose, the redesigned packaging is now entirely recyclable. Not only does it protect the decanter, it also helps preserve the planet’s resources, while enhancing the tasting experience.

The new Louis XIII box has been redesigned to preserve key elements of the LOUIS XIII heritage such as design, colour and craftsmanship, while being made entirely from cellulose.

Thanks to two years of research, the cognac house, founded in 1874, has succeeded in reducing the CO2 emissions associated with its box by 57%.

Being 24% lighter and 14% smaller than the previous model, this new-generation case makes it easier to transport and deliver the decanter.
